The Inpatient Department serves the patients who require admission for further treatment. Our team of committed and qualified staff in the wards ensure that there is quality patient care by offering services that include:
There is a female ward, male ward, private ward, maternity ward and a pediatric ward. Nutritional education and advice, chaplaincy, DTC (diagnostic testing and counseling) and physiotherapy services are provided in the wards. Nursing students also play a big role in providing patient care as they gain experience during clinical rotations Salome Ward is a female medical- surgical ward named after a lady called Salome Gaciko who served the hospital for 37 years from when it started. The ward has a capacity of 48 beds with a respiratory isolation room of 4 beds and two side rooms for other isolation needs. |
